Deep in the vast wilderness of the virgin forest, close to the world heritage Laponia, this is the natural gathering place for the Scandinavian moose.

Tailor-made hunting experience

Because Nordguide has long standing ties and deeply founded relationships with the local community this hunt takes place on hunting grounds previously not accessible to outsiders. A unique trophy moose hunt in terrain traditionally only hunted by a few local hunters and the Sami, this hunt is enhanced further by the possibility of shooting a brown bear should we come across them during the hunt.

Moose hunting during the rutt

NordGuide offers an exclusive moose hunting adventure in the vast wilderness of Swedish Lapland. This hunt is guided with one guide with one guest, with the aim to stalk one of the big bulls. We plan this hunt when the bulls are in the heat and we will mainly hunt by calling/luring. This hunt is exclusive as it is in one of our very best hunting grounds.

A true and genuine experience

We wanted to connect the location and its ancient prey with a small group of select hunters. Our base camp is one of Lapland, Sweden’s few remaining well-preserved mountain farms. It’s beautifully situated in age-old pine forest on the edge of the high mountains, which is a truly grand and captivating landscape.

After each day hunting, we serve local delicacies in a wood heated sauna. In the evening, we gather together for dinner in the kitchen. We cook local food from Lapland, using only the best game and fish ingredients paired with world class wines.

Well, first of all you get a lot of knife from the very start, a knife which is strong, comfortable and stays sharp very well or extremely well. And, after some ten or twenty years, it’s time for grinding the knife back to original shape. Ten dollars later, you can continue to use the knife for another ten years, or so. You also get a safe knife, well tested long before it was put into production. As a result, our warranty commitments are as low as 0,1 %.
